7 Common Bath-Time Mistakes Pet Owners Make

Bathing your pets may be anything but relaxing. Not many animals approach the bath tub willingly or happily; many will disappear in the opposite direction when it’s bath time.

Key takeaways:

·         Bath time should be an easy and fast experience to make your pet love the entire experience.

·         Wrong water temperature could a turn-off for your pet. Use lukewarm water to bathe your pet.

·         Poor brushing technique is painful and uncomfortable. Brush your pet before and after a bath to soothe them.

Make sure you have towels ready to go before the bath (the last thing you want is a soaking wet pet sprinting through your home!) and, if you own a dog, have a few towels on the floor and one ready to drape over his back in case he wants to shake off during the bath.
