• Treat chamber. Fill the hollow tyre with dry treats or kibble, or smear pet toothpaste in the grooves.

Toothpaste: run a line of pet toothpaste along the tread grooves; it spreads over the teeth as your dog chews.

Clean after heavy use with warm soapy water, rinse well and let the rope dry fully before the next session.

How does a chew toy help with teeth?

Chewing and tugging rub the rope fibres and rubber tread against the teeth and gums, which helps loosen soft food debris. It supports brushing; it does not replace it.

Which dogs is it for?

Small, medium and large dogs that enjoy chewing, tugging and fetch, including teething puppies. It is not suitable for extreme power chewers.

Can cats use it?

No. It is designed for dogs; loose rope fibres are not suitable for cats.

Is it safe to leave with my dog?

Use it for supervised play only, and inspect it before each session.

How do I clean it?

Warm water and mild soap, rinse thoroughly and let the cotton dry completely before reuse.

Does it replace brushing or a dental clean?

No. Chew toys help with soft debris between brushes. They cannot remove hardened tartar, which needs your vet.
