Why it works

  • Soft bio-nylon filaments made from castor oil rather than petroleum nylon, gentle on sensitive gums.
  • Charcoal-infused bristles for a fresher-feeling clean as part of daily brushing.
  • Slightly offset bristle field to reach between teeth and along the gum line.
  • Self-standing bamboo handle, water-resistant and splinter-free, keeps the bristles off surfaces between uses.
  • Ventilated bamboo travel case for holidays, dog shows, kennels and camping.
  • Plastic-free and biodegradable handle and case; recyclable packaging.

How to use

  1. Put a pea-sized amount of pet toothpaste on the bristles and let your pet lick it off.
  2. Lift the lip and brush the outer surfaces at a 45-degree angle to the gum line, a few teeth at a time.
  3. Keep sessions short and calm; daily is the goal.
  4. Rinse, shake dry and stand the brush upright, or store it in the case once dry.
  5. Replace every three months, or sooner if the filaments splay.

Safety and when to see your vet

  • Supervise brushing. This is a hygiene tool, not a chew toy; do not let your pet chew it.
  • Dry the brush before closing it in the case. Discard if bristles fray or the bamboo splits.
  • Not a veterinary medicine. Petdentist® products are for daily hygiene and routine care of healthy pets and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
  • If your pet has bad breath that does not improve, bleeding or swollen gums, loose or broken teeth, visible heavy tartar, pain, or is reluctant to eat or be touched around the mouth, book a check-up with your vet.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place with the lid closed.

FAQs

Is it suitable for cats?

Yes. The compact head and soft filaments suit cats and small dogs; larger dogs may prefer our long-handled large breed brush.

What are bio-nylon bristles?

Filaments made from renewable plant sources such as castor oil instead of petroleum-based nylon. They clean like standard nylon and are gentle on gums.

Why bamboo?

Bamboo grows fast, needs no plastic and is naturally water-resistant, so the handle stays sound and can be composted at the end of its life.

How do I keep it hygienic?

Rinse after every use, shake dry and stand it up. Let it dry fully before closing it in the case.

Which toothpaste should I use?

Always a pet toothpaste. Petsmile Professional Pet Toothpaste is VOHC Accepted for plaque control in dogs and comes in three flavours.

How often should I replace it?

Every three months, or sooner if the filaments splay.
